The Direct Tax Dispute Resolution Scheme was introduced by the Finance Budget 2016, whereby the tax payers who are under litigation could settle their disputes in accordance with the provisions of the Scheme.
Various queries in this regard were being raised by stakeholders seeking further clarifications on the provisions of the Scheme. In this regard, the CBDT has considered the queries and has clarified the same in the form of questions and answers.
